Hi everyone! No, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, I've just been really, REALLY busy. Work is taking up much more of my time thant I had planned, but has to be done.
I wanted to share the cards I was able to do today. The clinic was closed - WOW! - so I had an "extra" day to actually get some playing in.
These are cards I made with one of my latest Papertrey Ink sets - A Day at the Beach. LOVE this set! I knew I had to have it the minute I started seeing sneak previews! I started with one card, which I totally CASED fromNiki Estes and then the others followed. I only used one sheet of 8x8 Bitty Dot Basics from Papertrey and a piece of scrap Bazzill, plus the Kraft from Papertrey.
Rachel got to swim in the pool for the first time this season today. She's been asking to swim ever since Spring Break! I think in another life she really was a fish! She loves the water so much!
Dalton is looking forward to the end of school. He is able to get his driver's license now. We'll probably do that in the next couple of weeks. He has a couple of ROTC camps coming up and seems to be pretty excited about that. They're officer training camps. He's wanting to join the military after school, just like his brother.
Speaking of his brother, Derek is now in Afghanistan. He got called over a few weeks ago and has about a 7-10 month tour, then it's back to Okinawa. I sure do miss getting to talk to him! His phone calls are not going to come near as often!
Well, I'd better get off for now - I have some laundry to finish up and would like to get some more playing done before I head off to bed.
